Transformers 4 Movie Update

So Shia Labeouf left the franchise. But Director Michael Bay will be back. He said that Transformers 4 will be the last installment he will helm though. But don't worry, the studios are hoping that Transformers 4 will be the stepping stone for a new series of Transformers movies.

A few words from Michael Bay about what to expect in Transformers 4:

"It’s not a reboot, that’s maybe the wrong word. I don’t want to say reboot because then people will think we’re doing a Spider-Man and starting from the beginning. We’re not. We’re taking the story that you’ve seen — the story we’ve told in three movies already — and we’re taking it in a new direction. But we’re leaving those three as the history. It all still counts. I met with the writer before I went off to do ‘Pain and Gain’ and we talked about a bunch of ideas. We let that simmer for a bit. He’s been thinking about stuff and now we’re getting back together next week to see what we’ve got and to see if it gels.
[And about the film heading to space:]
I want to go a little off but I don’t want to go too sci-fi. I still want to keep it grounded. That’s what works in these movies, that’s what makes it accessible."
Director Michael Bay

Well, bring it on Michael! Let's hope Transformers 4 will start filming soon!

  5. It will not be one of the best transformers because you are taking Shia Labeouf out he is what made the transfomer movies the bomb.with out him it wont be the same an i dont think it will be as big a hit as the others Shia is the one who made the movie. And this is not coming from a teenager this comes from a 52 yr old women he made the show an it wont be the same.take my word from someone who owns all the transformer movies.
